Dr. Hartman oversees the reproductive services and has over 20 years of experience in embryo transfer. He works closely with the theriogenology department at Texas A&M University on research projects, equine cloning and ICSI. He is an adjunct professor in theriogenology at Texas A&M and is a popular internationally known speaker on equine embryo transfer. We have a large on site herd of recipient mares, which provides the selection of the best possible recipient mare to be aligned with the donor mare on any given day. Performance Equine also accepts embryos that are collected from other veterinarians and shipped to us. We have a state of the art reproduction laboratory, with on-site microbiology lab, semen processing equipment for low dose insemination and freezing, a Nucleocounter (the most accurate way to count sperm cells), large collection area and an enthusiastic, well trained staff.
